ORDINANCE N0. '3054 -
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REN.T.ON, WASHING.TON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITHIN :THE CITX OF RENTON FROM
LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (L-1) T0 RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (R-3)
WHEREAS under Cha.pter 7 , Title IV (Building Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 kriown as the "Code of General Ordinances of
the City. of Renton" , as amended, and th.e maps and reports adopted
in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow .described has
heretofore be.en zoned as Light Industr.ial 'Distr.ict (L,-1) ; and
WHEREAS a proper pet.ition for change of zone classification
of said property has been filed with the City Clerk on or about June
2, 1976, which .pet.ition was duly referred to the Planning Commzssion
for investigation, study and public hearing, and a public hearing
having been held thereon on or abo.ut July 14, 1976, and said matter
having been duly considered by the Planning Commission and said zoning
request being in conformity with the Cityts Comprehensive Plan, as
amended, and the City Council having duly considered all matters
relevant thereto, and all parties having been hea2�d appearing in
support .thereof or in opposition thereto, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS: -
SECTION� 'I: The following described property in the City
of Rentan is hereby rezoned to Residence Distri,ct (R-3) as hereinbelow
specified; th.e Publ�ic Works Director and the Planning Director are
hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ord-
i inance, as amended, .to evidence said rezoning, �to-wit:
Lot #7, Block #27, Town of Reriton, Less east 5
feet for alley
(property located on Burnett Avenue So. be.tween S .
4th Stre.et and S . 5th Street, Renton, King County,
Washington) .
