AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, I
CHANGING. THE ZONING CLASSIFICATTON OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES I
WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM GENERAL CLASSIFICATION
DISTRICT (G.) TO MANUFACTURING PARK (M-P)
WHEREAS under Chapter 7 , Title IV (Building Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 kriown as the "Code of General Ordinances
of the City. of Renton", .as amended, and the maps and reports adopted
in conjunction therew.i.th,. the property her.einbelow described has
heretofore be.en zoned. as GENERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (G) ; and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said property has beeri �iled with _the City Clerk on or about
October 20 , 1�976 , whi.ch peti.tion was duly referred to_ the Planning
Commission for investigation, study and publ.ic hearing, and a public
hearing having been held thereon on or abo.ut No.verriber 1D , 1976,
and said matter having been duly considered by. the Planning Commission
and said zoning requ,est being in conformity with_ the City1s Comprehensive
Plan, as amended, and the City Council having .duly considered all
matters relevant theret.o, .and all parties having been heard appearing
in support .thereof or in opposition thereto, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF RENTOAt, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :

of Renton is her.eby rezoned to Manufacturing Park� (M-P) as hereinbelow
specified; the Public Wo.rks Director and the Planning Director
are hereby. authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning
Ordinance, as amended, to eviderice said rezoning, to-wit:
That portion of the Burlington Northern Inc. 120 feet wide
Railroad rig.ht-of-way lying southerly of S.W. lOth Street
as shown -in the plat of Earlington Industr.ial Park No. l,
according to. the Plat recorded in Vol. $3 of Plats , page
10, in King County, Washington, westelry of th� west line
of Li:nd Ave.. S .W. , also known as Stevens Ave. S .W. extended ,
south.er.ly and easterly of a line .300 feet wes.terly, measured
at right angles from the we:st line of Lind Ave. S .W. and
said Avenue extended southerly.
