SECTION 5-1004 .0�' T.ITLE V .(.BU.SINESS RE.GULATIONS) OF.
ORDINANCE N0. I628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL �ORDTNANCES
OF THE CITY OF RENT.ON" RELATING. .TO ENTERTAINMENT LICENSE
FEES INGLUDING. MASTER LICENSES
THE CITY. C.OUNCIL OF THE CITY. pF REN.TON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
I AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION:I: Section 5-1004 of Title .V CB.usiness Re.g.ul.ati.ons) �,
of Ordinance No. 1628 erititl.ed: "Code of General Ordinances of the City �,
of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows : '�

MASTER �I;IC£NSE. A. Th.e license fee _to. be paid her:eunder, effective as
of January l, 197T, for each licerised "entertainment device" as herein
def.ined shall be: the sum of Five Dollars ($.5 . 00), per month, per machine,
or an annual licerise fee for each .such "entertainmen.t .dev_ice" of Sixty
Dollars ($.fi0. 00) . L'icerises shall be issued on a calendar year basis .
Each licerise .issued her.eunder shall be. kept in prominent display on or
in close proxima.ty to. th.e. unzt .licerisq3her.eunder and at, _the location
for which same has beeri issued. No license fee is transfer.able, or
refundable, and there shall be no transfer of licenses from one unit
to another and such transfer is expressly prohi:bi.ted. hereby..
B. Arcads "Master L•i'cense. In addition to. the licerise fees
imposed in subparagraph "A" here 'inabove, ther.e .is her:eby established a
master licerise,. to be 3�riowri as the "Arcade Master L'icense" which .shall
be in the sum of One Hundred Dallars ($.100. 00) per year applicable :ta
any person, partn.er.ship. or corporation owning,. displayin : or. usin such

entertainment device and having .fi.we or more �of said ."entertainment
devices" on its premises.. Application for such mas.ter license shall be I
made in the. same manner as set forth in paragraph 5-1006 hereinbelow.
SEGTION :II: Any and a11 Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict ,herew.ith are her:eby repealed.
