CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
ORDINANCE N0. 3198
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
PROVIDING FOR APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS
WHEREAS the City of Renton, Washington has heretofore
received certain excess revenues in excess of estimated revenues for
the calendar year 1978 from the proceeds of sale of Senior Citizens '
Center LImited General Obligation Bond issue, and
WHEREAS these funds were not included in the City of
Renton' s annual budget, and
WHEREAS it is necessary and advisa.k�le to establish a
Senior Citizens Center Construction Fund from said excess revenues, and
WHEREAS it is necessary and advisable to appropriate
and transfer from such excess revenue into the below mentioned fund
to provide for the establishment of the Senior Citizens ' Center
Construction Fund and such appropriation being necessary and in the
public interest and for the public benefit, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The Director of Finance is hereby authorized
and directed to establish a fund known as "Senior Citizens ' Center
Construction Fund, Account No. 313/000/20 . 533 . 50. 62 . 00" .
SECTION II : The Director of Finance is hereby authorized
and directed to provide for the following appropriation and transfer :
FROM: Excess Revenue (P.rbceeds from sale
of Senior Citizens ' Center Limited
General Obligation Bond issue') $900 , 000 . 00
UNTO : Senior Citizens ' Center Construction
Fund a/c 313/000/�: 533 . 50 . 62 . 00 $900, 000 . 00
SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be effective. upon its
passage, ap�roval and five days after its publication. i
