[�JHEREAS the City Council authorized the vacation of a . � ortion of S .j�J. �iarris Place between Hardie Avenue S .W. and Rainier � p � Avenue S. , Renton, King County, [�Tashington., and all of the abutting � . � � property owners have agreed to and joined in the vacation action; and � ; WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No . 2136 passed � ('�+ and approved on September 26, 1977 and after due investigation, did fix and determine the 17th day of October, 1977 at the hour of 8 : 00 P .M. in the City CouncilChambers of the City of Renton to be the time and place for a public hearing thereon, and the City Clerk having given due notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law, and said hearing having been continued to November 7, 1977 , November 14, 1977 and December 19, 1977, and all persons having been heard appearing in favor or in opposition thereto; and � � WHEREAS the Depar tment of Public Works and the Planning Department of the City of Renton having duly considered said vacation, and having found same to.� be in the public interest and for the public benefit, and no injury or damage to any person or properties ��ill result from such vacation; NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, tiJASHINGTON, DO OP.DAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The following described street, to-wit: ` See Exhibit "A" attached hereto BE AND 'T�iE SAME IS HEREBY PARTIALLY VACATED, subject to the payment unto the City by the abutting property owners of $22, 865 . 00, whi�h said amount does not exceed 1/2 of the apgraised value of the area herein- above vacated, together t�ith the other terms and conditions as per the Stipulated Agreement signed by said abutting owners , such agreement . _ ` •r �''W '� _�— �t,+,, • i , v . t � , � � • -X� , 4.�-. .
