ORDINANCE N0. 3215
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF TITLE IV (BUILDING REGULATIONS)
OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO
PLUMBING CODE.
BE IT� ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS : �
SECTION I : Existing Chapter 2 of Title IV (Building �
Regulations) of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as '�
follows :
Section 4-201, as amended: UNIFORP2 PLUNiBING CODE ADOPTED:
The "Uniform Plumbing Code, 1975 Ed�:tion" as issued by the "International
Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials" of which not less
than three (3) printed copies in book form have heretofore been
filed and are now on file in the office of the City Clerk and made
available for examination by the public, is hereby adopted as the
"Uniform Plumbing Code" by the City of Renton, and said Code may �
be hereafter designated as the "City of Renton Uniform Plumbing
Co de" .
Section 4-202, as amen ded: SCHEDULE OF FEES:
Minimum fee , for each permit issued $ 5. 00
Each plumbing fixture or trap or set of
fixtures on one trap 2 . 50
Rainwater Systems per drain 2 , 50
Each Industrial Waste Pre-Treatment
Interceptor 2 . 50
Installation, Alteration or Repair of

5ection 4-203 , as amended: Any and all amendments , additions
or modifications to said Code , when printed and filed with the City
Clerk of the City of Renton by authorization of the City Council
from time to time, shall be considered and accepted and constitu�e
a part of such Code , as amended, without the necessity of further
adoption of such amendments , modifications or additions by the
legislative authority of the City of Renton or by ordinance .
Section 4-204 , as amended: The City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to duly authenticate and record a copy of �he above- I
mentioned Code, �ogether with any amendments or addi�ions thereto,
together with an authen�icated copy o� this Ordinance.
Section 4-205, as amended : This Ordinance shall not be I�
construed to relieve from or lessen the responsibility of any
person owning, building, altering, constructing or moving any building
or structure as defined in the aforesaid Code; nor shall the City
of Renton or any agent thereof be held as assuming such liability
by reason of inspection authorized herein or a Certificate of
Inspection issued by the City or any of its agencies .
SECTION II : Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon its passage , approval and publication.
