BE IT ORDAINEb BX TH� CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTZON I: Existing Section 4-170Y of Chapter 17, Title IV (Build-
ing Regul.ations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows:
5ection 4-170�., as amended: AUOPTION: The "Uniform Mechanical Code", I
1976 Edition, as issued by the "International Conference of Building
Officials" and "International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical
Officials", of which not less than three (3) printed copies in book form
have heretofore been fi�ed and are now on file in the office of the City
Clerk and made avai�.a�ble for e.xamination by the public, is hereby adopted
. as the "Uniform Mechanical Code" for the City of Renton, which Code may
hereafter be designed as "City of Renton Uniform Mechanical Code"; and any
and a11 amendments, additions or modifications thereto when printed and .
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton 'by authorization of the
City Council from time to time shall be considered and accepted and
constitute a part of such Code without the necessity of further adoption
of such amendments, modificatiions or additions by the Legisl.ative authority
of the City of Renton or by Ordinance.
SECTION II: The fee for the issuance of eacfi �permit in Section 304.1
of the Uniform Mechanica�. Code shall be six �ollars ($6.00) .
SECTION IYZ: �isting Section 4-1702 of Chapter 17, Title IV (Building
Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of
the City of Renton" is hereb� a-mended to read as follows:
SECTION 4-1702, as amended: REF�RENC�: By the reference thereto made
hereinabove, said "Uniform Mechanical Code" together with any and all
amendments, modifications or additions thereto hereafter printed and filed
with the City Clerk as hereinabove specified, are incorporated in and made i
a part of this Ordinance as ful�.y and with the same effect as if set out I
herein in full, or as if adopted by subsequent 6�rdinances amendatory hereof. '
SECTION IV: Any and a11 ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repea�.ed.
