ORDTNANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS ; � .
SECTZON I : Existing Section 1�503 of Ordinance No. 1628
i.s �hereby amended to read as follows :
Secti.on 1-503 , as amended : TIME AND PLACE OF MEETINGS
The C�ty Council shall hold its regular meetings on the
f�rst four (4) Mondays of each inonth, commericing at the hour af eight
o 'clock (� : QO) �.M. in the City Council ch�mbers of the City Hal1 ,
or at sucfi. other �lace or �laces that th.e City Counc�l may determine
from time to time,�
Special or "Committee of the Whole" meetings of the City
Council shall be held on the second Thursday of each month at the
hour of eight o ' clock (8 : 00) P.M in the City Council chambers of the City
Hall unless otherwise indicated by the City Council , except� that such
meetings shall not be held during the months of January, July and
November . �
' Additional special meetings may be called by the Mayor or
any four (4) members of the City Council by written notice delivered
to each member of the Council at least twenty four (24) hours before the
time specified for the proposed meeting, and as otherwise provided by
Chapter 250, Laws of 1971 , First Ex. Sess (Open Public Meetings Act
of 1971) and further subject to the provisions of RCW 35A. 12 . 110 .
SECTION II : Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict h.erewith are hereby repealed. � .
SECTION III : This Ordinance .shall be in full force and

ef�ect upon its passage, approval� and five days after its publicatiori.
