ORDINANCE N0. 3247
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERT.�ES WITHIN THE C�TY OF RENTQN FRO�I
GENERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (G) TO RESIDENCE
, DISTRZCT (.R-3) (R-165-78)
WHEREAS under Chapter 7 , Title IV (Building Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton" , as amended, and the maps and reports.
adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
has heretofore been zoned as GEneral Classification District (G) ;
and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said property has been filed with the Planning Department
on or about April 17 , 1978, which petition was duly referred
to the Hearing Examiner for investigation, study and public hearing, I�
and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about May 30,
1978 , and said matter having been duly considered by th.e Hearing
Examiner and said zoning request .being in conformity with the
City' s Comprehensive Plan, as amended, and the City Council having
duly considered all matters relevant thereto, and all parties
having been heard appearing in• support thereof or in opposition
thereto, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

, SECTTON I : The following described property in the City �
of Renton is hereby rezoned to Residence District (R-3 )as hereinbelow
specified; subject to. the findings, conclusions and decision dated
June 15 , 1978 of the City' s Hearing Examiner; the Planning Director
, is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the. Zoning
Ordinance, as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit :

South.west Quarte.r of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 16 , Townshlp 23 North,
Range 5 E. , W.M. , less the West 225 feet of said
North 125 feet in King County, Washington and also
except the North 30 Feet Thereo�.
(Said property located approximately 650 feet
north of Northeast 4th Street west of Union Avenue
Northeast, between existing Greenwood Cemetery
and existing City of Renton property) .
AND SUBJECT.'FURTHER to that certain Declaration of Restricfive
Co�enants. executed by Petitioner-owner on or about
and rec.orded in the office of the Director of Records and Elections,
Receiving No. �g07210770 and which said covenants are hereby
incorporated and made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
SECfiION II: Th'is Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and five (5) days after its publication.
