GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF REI�TO�" REL�TING �O
HARASSMENT AND ABOPTING SUBSTITUTE SENATE BILL 51.42 8Y
RE'FERENCE
THE CI'TY COUNCIL UF THE CITY OF RENTON, 6VASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : Existin� Secti�n �-1�38 of Ti'tl.e VI (Police
Regulati�ns) of flrdinanc� Na. 1628 entitled "Code of Gen�ral
Ordinances of the City af Rentan" is hereby repeale�3.
SECT30N II : Title VI (Police Regulations) of Ordinance Na�.
1628 entitled "Code of Gen�ral Ordinances of the City of Renton"
is hereby amended by adding the following 8ection:
Sectian 5-190: HARASSMFNT: Substitute Senate Bill 5142 of
which not le�s th�n three (3 ) copies �ach haue hereto�ore b�en
f_iled in the office of the City Clerk an� made available to the
general public for ex�minati�n, is h�reby adopted �y referez�ce
for ti�e City of Renton, and any and all amendm�nts, additions or
modifications thereto, wh�n pr_ int�r� and filed with th� City Clerk
by authori2ation o� �.he City Counci�, shall be consic3ered an�
accepted and constitut�e a part of such Code wi_thout the necessity
of further adoption by the legisl�tiv� �uthority of the Ca.ty of
Renton.

SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be e.ffective upon its
passage, approval and five day:� after publication.
