AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTOIV, WASHI�TGTON CHAI�IGING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIIV PROPERTTES WITHIN THE CITY
OF RENTON FROM GEN�RAL CLASSIFICATION (�-1 ) TO MANUFACTURING
PARK (M-P) (CONTAINER CORPORATION - R-021-$6 )
WHEREAS under Chapter 7, Title IV (Building Regulation�) of
Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of
the City of Renton" , as amended, and the maps and reports a�opted
in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has
heretofore been zoned as General Classification (G-1 ) ; and
WHEREAS a proper petition Por change of zone classif.ication
of said property has been filed with the Building and Zoning
Department on or about March 7, 1986 , which petition was duly
referred to the Hearin� Examiner for investigation, study and
public hearing and a nublic hearing having been held thereon on
or about January 20, 1987 and subsequent hearings having been
held before the Renton City Council on Febru�ry 9, 1987, March 2,
1987 and September 21, 1987, ancl said matter having been duly
considered by the Hearing Examiner and said zoning request bein�
in conformity with the City' s Compr�hensiv� Plan, as amended, and
the City Council having duly considered a11 matters relevant
thereto, and all parties having been heard appearing in support
thereof or in oppositi�n thereto, NOW THEREFORE ,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTIOIV I: The following described property in the City of
Renton is her�by rezoned to Ma.nufacturing Park (M-P) as
hpreinbelow specified; subject to the findings, conclusions and
' ' ORDINANCE NO. 4096 � .
decision of the Hearing Examiner dated January 29 , 1987; the
Building and Zoning Director is hereby authorized and directed to
change the maps of th� Zoning Ordinance, �s amended , to evi��nce
said rezoning, to-wit :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof
as if fully set forth herein
(Said property bein� located on the West side of
i�ionster Road S.W. at the 600-1100 �lack)
SECTION II : This Ordinanc� shall be effective upcan its
passage, approval and five days after its nublication.

Legal Description
All that portion of the Southwest Quarter of Section 13;
And of the Southeast Quarter of Section 14;
And of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23;
And of the Northwest Quarter of Section 24;
All in Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M. , in King County, Washington
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly Right-of-Way �ine of
Monster Road S.W. ( formerly known as Steele Hill Road - Survey 24-23-4-1,
Established 5-25-31, or County Rd. No. 8) with the northerly Right-of-Way Line
of the Northern Pacific Railway Belt Line Right-of-Way in the Northwest Quarter
of said Section 24 said point also being the existing City Limit of Renton as
annexed by Ordinances No. 1764 and No. 1928;
Thence northwesterly along said northerly railroad Right-of-Way Line and
northeasterly line of Northern Pacific Railway Main Line through the Northwest
Quarter of said Section 24 and through the Northeast Quarter of said Section 23
and through the Southeast Quarter of .Section 14 to the thread of the Black
River (the former limits of the City of Tukwila) and the existing limits of the
City of Renton as annexed by Ordinance No. 4040;
Thence northeasterly along said thread and said City limits line to the
centerline Right-of-Way line of Monster Road S.W. ( formerly known as So. 143rd
St. ) , also being the existing City Limit of Renton as annexed under Ordinance
No. 1928;
Thence easterly and southeasterly along said existing City of Renton limits
to the south line of said Section 13;
Thence southerly along said City limits, said line also being the West
Right-of-Way Line of said Monster Road S.W. in the Northwest Quarter of said
Section 24 to the point of beginning.
