ORDINANCE NO. 3275
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF R.ENTON, �9ASHINGTON
AMENDING CI�A�'TER 1 OF TITLE IV (UNIFORM BUILDING .
CODE) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF
GENER.AL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING
TO INSPECTIOi'�l FEES �
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: Existing Chapter 1 of Title IV (Uniform Building
Code) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled '°Code of General Ordinances of the
City of Renton, Washin�ton" is hereby a�ended by adding the following
� subsection:
�e�fi:on 4-105 : INSPECTION, APPROVAL AND FEES . In addition
� to other permits and fees there will be an inspection/approval� fee�fo�.;: :

�'\' Tnis ase on a percentage of the estima�ed cost of improvements
using the following formula:
2% of the first $100 ,000
1 i/2o of that amount over $100 ,000 but less than $200 ,000
I 1% of any amount over $200 ,000 ' •
The developer will be required to submit separate cost�
estim�tes�for each item of improvement. These will be checked by the
Public Works Department for accuracy. • -
Monies derived from t�e above charges shall be dep�sited in the
General Fund except any monies collected for inspection and approval of
water mains and sanitary sewers shall be deposited to the Utility Fund. The
� Fees are due and payable prior tc approval of construction plans . �
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage and approval and five days after its publication.
