ORDINANCE NO. 3276
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHII�GTON
AMENDING CHAPTER 11 OF TITLE IX .�PUBLIC W.AYS AND
PROPERTY) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF
GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING
TO INSPECTION FEES �
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWSt
SECTION I : Existing subsection 2 of Section 9-1108 ot �
l Title IX (Public Ways and Property) of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled
"Code of Generai Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended
to read as follows : '
Section �9-1108 , 2 . , as amended: Inspection, Approval and
Fees. The Public Works Department shall be responsible for the
supervision, inspection and acceptance of all subdivision improvements ,
and shall make a charge therefor to the subdivider. The charges shall
be based on a percentage of the estimated construction cost as follows:

� 1 1/20 of anything over $100 ,000 but less than $200 ,000

lo of that amount over $200 ,000
The developer will be required to submit separate cost
estimates for each item of improvement. These will be checked by the
Pubiic Works Department for accuracy.
' Monies derived from tne above charges shall be deposited to
the general fund except any monies� collected for inspection and approval

� of water mains and sanitary sewers shall' be deposited to �he Utility
Fund. The fees are due and payable prior to approval of construction
p3:ans.
SECTJON II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its �
passage , approval and legal publication.
