AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHING?ON
• CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIF.ICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CI?Y OF RENTON FROM RESI-
DENCE DISTICT (R-2) TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3) (R-235-78)
WHEREAS under Chapter 7, Ti#le IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance
No. 1628 known as #he "Code of General Ordinances of the City of� Renton", as
amended, and the maps and reports adopted in conjunction therewith, the property
hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as Residence District (R-2); and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property
has been filed with the Planning Department on or about October 10, 1978, which
petition was duly referred to the Hearing Examiner for investigation, study and public
hearing, and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about November 7, I97g, I
and said matter having been duly considered by #he Hearing Examiner and said zoning
request being in conformity with the City's Comprehensive Plan, as amended, and the
City Council having duly considered all matters relevant thereto, and all parties having
been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto, NOW THERLFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described property in the ,City of Renton is
hereby rezoned to Residence District (R-3) as hereinbelow specified; subject to the
findings, conclusions and decision dated November 9, 1978; the Planning Director_is
hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended,
to evidence said rezoning, to-wit: ,
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof
as if fully set forth herein.
(Said property being located at vicinity of 1501 and 1517 •

AND SUBJECT FURTHER to that certain Declaration o# Restrictive Covenants executed
by Petitioner-owners on or about January 22 , 1979 and recorded in the _
office of the Director ,of Records and Elections, Receiving No. 7 9 32 2 0&19 and
which said Covenants hereby incorporated and made a part hereof as i# fully set for#h.
. SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its .passage, approval
