AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN "
PROPERTIES WI'fHIN T'HE CITY OF RENTON FROM GENERAL
CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (GS-1) and SUBURBAN RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (S-1) TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-2 and R-3) x-2 71-7 s
WHEREAS under Chap#er 7, .Title IV (Building Regulations) of; Ordinance
No. 1628 known as #he ,"Code of Gene,ral Ordinances of the City of Renton", as

amended, and the maps and reports adopted in conjunction therewith, the property
hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as General, Classification District
(GS-1) and Suburban Residence District (S-1); and
� WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property
has been filed with the Planning Department on or about December 20,1978, which
petition was duly referred to the Hearing Examiner for investigation, stt�dy and public
hearing, and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about January 16, 1979,
and said matter having been duly considered by the Hearing Examiner and said zoning
request being in conformity with the City's Comprehensive Plan, as amended, and the
City Council having duly considered all matters relevant thereto, and alI parties having
been i�eard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECT'ION I: The following described property in the City of Renton is

hereby rezoned to Suburban Residence District =`(s x__1)��as hereinbelow specified;
� subject to the findings, conclusions and decision dated 'January 23, 1979; the Planning
Director is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance,
as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a par# hereof
as if fully set forth herein.

north of N.E. 4th Street on Monroe Avenue N.E.)
AND SUBJECT FURTHER to that certain Declaration of Restrictive Covenants executed
by Petitioner-owners on or about January 31, 1979 and recorded in the office of the

Commencing at the NW corner of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said Section 9, thence
easterly along the north line of said subdivision a distance of 30 feet to the true
point of beginning; thence continuing easterly along the north line of said subdivi - I
