ORDINANCE NO. 3979
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
PROVIDING FOR APPROPRIATION OF A UNITED STATES
DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, SOIL CONSERVATION
SERVICE (SCS) GRANT, FOR THE S.W. GRADY WAY
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. .
WHEREAS, an Agreement (CAG 083-85 Addendum 1-86) has been executed
between the Soil Conservation Service, hereafter referred to as SCS, and
the City of Renton, in which SCS has agreed to pay 55.58% of construction
costs in the amount of $500,760.00, for the S.W. Grady Way Street Improve-
ment Project, in conjunction with the Eastside Green River Water Shed P-1
Channel,.Phase III Project, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and advisable and in the public interest to
appropriate said SCS Grant, NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and
directed to provide for the following appropriation:
FROM: U.S. Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service Grant.
Revenue a/c --- 301/084/331.10.90.00 ....................... $500,760.00
Street Forward Thrust Fund (S.W. Grady Way/SCS)
UNTO: Street Forward Thrust Fund Expenditure Budget.
Expenditure a/c 301/084/15.541.00.69.00 $500,760.00
S..W. Grady Way Improvement Project
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage,
approval, and five days after its publication.
