ORDINANCE NO. !3997
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING A PORTION OF SECTION 10-115.OF TITLE
X (TRAFFIC) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED
"CODE OF GENERAL.ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
RENTON" .RELATING TO TAXICAB ZONES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing subsection .(F) 4 of,Section 10-115,
Title X (Traffic) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended
as follows:
Section 10-115 ,(F)..4.,,as am..endea.: The operator of a
taxicab shall not stand or park su6h.vehicle upon any street
or public property at any place other than in a designated
public parking area. This provision shall not prevent the
operator of a taxicab from temporarily stopping in accordance
with other stopping or parking regulations at any place for
the purpose of and while actually engaged in the expeditious
loading or unloading of passengers.
SECTION, II: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and thirty days after publi.chtion.
