AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
AND CORRECTING ORDINANCE NO. 1580 RELATING TO ANNEXATION
WHEREAS the City of Renton heretofore duly passed Ordinance No. 1580
under date of November 13, 1956 annexing certain territory to the City of Renton
and WHEREAS the City Engineer has been advised by the Board of King County
Commi.%ioners and its engineering staff that the legal description as contained in
the aforementioned Ordinance No. 1580 should be amended and clarified and WHEREAS
it is advisable to correct and clarify said description in order to have same
conform to the official records of King County, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing Section I of Ordinance No. 1580 is hereby amended
and corrected to read as follows:
Section I as amended: Pursuant to provisions of Chapter 128 of the
1945 Session Laws of the State of Washington, it is determined that the above
mentioned petition for annexation to the City of Renton of the property and territory
hereinbelow described be and it is hereby approved and granted, and the following
described property, being contiguous to the city limits of the City of Renton
situated in King County, State of Washington be and the same is hereby annexed to
the City of Renton, effective on and after the passage, approval and legal publica-
tion of this Ordinance, and on and after said date said territory shall constitute
a part of the City of Renton and shall be subject to all the laws and ordinances
then thereafter enforced; said property being described as follows:
That portion of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 18, Township 23 North, Range 5 E.W.M., lying northerly and
westerly of the existing City Limits of Renton and lying southerly
and easterly of the following described limiting line;
Beginning at a point on the southerly right of way line of City of
Seattle Pipe Line right of way, said point being 138.38 feet easterly
of the northeast corner of Crosby Heights Addition as recorded in
Volume 20 - Page 34 records of King County; thence N 0012120/1 East
a distance of 116.0 feet; thence N 10050145" East to the southerly
right of way of South 133rd Street; thence easterly along said
southerly line and said southerly line projected to the easterly
line of 91st Avenue South and the end of said limiting line.
All situated in King County, State of Washington.

SECTION II: All other provisions, terms and conditions of said
Ordinance No. 1580 shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION III: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be forwarded
and filed with the Board of County CommizLoners of King County, State of
Washington.
