AN ORDINANCE OF TITS CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO TIE CITY Or RENTON
WHEREAS under the provisions of Chapter 128 of the 1945 Session Laws of
the State of Washington, as amended, a petition in writing requesting that certain
territory, contiguous to the city limits of the City of Renton, as hereinafter more
particularly described, be annexed to the City, was prepared and filed with the
City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about October 6, 1959, bearing the signatures
of the owners of more than seventy-five per cert (75%) in value according to the
assessed valuation for general taxation of the territory for tahich annexation is
petitioned herein, which petition sets forth the legal description of the property
according to governmental legal subdivision or plats, and was accompanied by a plat
or drawing outlining the boundaries of the territory petitioned to be annexed and
the city having duly determined that said petition fully complied with all the
requirements of the law and the city council being desirous of entertaining said
petiti.ond; and the Planning Commission of the City of Renton having. heretofore
considered and recommended the annexing of said property to the City; and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Renton fixed Tuesday, October 20,
1959, at 8:00 P.M. at the City Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of
Renton, as the time and place for public hearing upon said petition, and public
notice thereof having been given as required by lay*, including publication in the
City's legal newspaper, inviting all interested persons to appear thereat and voice
approval, or disapproval of or objections to the proposed annexation, and a public
hearing having been held at the time and place specified in aforesaid notice, and
said hearing being continued from time to time, and the Council having been advised
in the premises and having heard all matters and interested parties in connection
therewith, and the granting of said petition being deemed proper and advisable and
in the public interest, NOW THEREFORE,
IE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AD THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF R 7%TTON AS

SECTION I: Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 128 of the 1945 Session
Laws of the State of Washington, as amended, it is determined that the above men-
tioned petition for annexation to the City of Renton of the property and territory
hereinbelow described be and it is hereby approved and granted, and the following
described property being contiguous to the city limits of the City of Renton

situated in King County, State of Washington, be and the same is hereby annexed
to the City of Renton, effective on and after the passage, approval and publica-
tion of this Ordinance; and on and after that date said territory shall constitute
a part of the City of Renton and shall be subject to all the laws and ordinances
then thereafter enforced; said property being described as follows:
That portion of the SE 1/4 of Section 5 T 23N R5E W.M. lying North of
the North right of way line of S. E. 112th Street; East of the East
right of way line 112th Ave. S. Jouth of the South right of way
line of S.E. 108th Street and J o the City T,imits of Renton.
Also that portion of the SE lA of Section 5 T ?3N R5F W.M. lying
North of the South right of gray line S.T.. 10P.th Street and Fast of
the East right of bray line of 112th Ave, S.r. Also that portion of
the NE 1/4 of Section 5 T 23N R5E W.N. lying east of the East right A Rlw Liva
of way line of 112th Ave. S.E. Also that portion of Section 4 T 23N pv&00Lz_D, NQ,
R5E W.M. lying Hest of the East right of way line of 116th Ave. S.F./and
North of the South right of way line of S.E. 108th Street. Also that
portion of Section 32T 24N R5E W.M. lying South of the North right of
way line of S. E. 96th Street; East of the East right of bray line of
112th Ave. S. E. extended and West of the East right of way line of
116th Ave. S. E. extended, all situate in King County, State of
Washington.
SECTION II: The above described annexed property contiguous to Precinct
No,h 7 of the City of Renton shall be and constitute a part of Precinct
No. 9 of the Oity of Renton.
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication as provided by Law. A certified
copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the Board of King County Commissioners,
King County, State of Washington.
