'1 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-1) TO PUBLIC USE DISTRICT (P-1) ... v - t� WHEREAS, under Ordinance No, 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as single residence district (R-1); and WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance," as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to Public Use District (P-1) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about March 21, 1960, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing thereon having been .0 held on April 13, 1960 in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition; NCW THEREFORE, FOLLOWS: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to Public Use District (P-1) as specified below; the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinances of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as follows: The East 150 feet of the West 180 feet of that portion of the West half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of the ZNorthwest quarter of Sec. 9, Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M., lying south- westerly of the State Highway No. 2 (Sunset Highway) and lying between lines which are 395.35 ft. and 496.35 ft., respectively, north of and parallel to the South line of the N.W. quarter of the N.W. quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of said section; commonly known as 1014 E Street, all situate in Renton, King County, Washington; and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and Ordinances of the City of Renton and in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by petitioners - owners of said property. SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. - 1 - PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 26th day of April, 1960.
