AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1818 RELATING TO AND CORRECTING THE IEGAL
DESCRIPTION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY HERETOFORE ANNEXED TO THE
CITY OF RENTON.
WHEREAS Ordinance Noe 1818 was duly approved and passed by the Mayor and
the City Council of the City of Renton on March 8, 1960 relating to the annexation
of certain territory to the City of Renton, and WHEREAS it has been determined
that the description of said territory so annexed be further clarified and amended
in order to avoid any confusion or uncertainty; NOW THEREFCRE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF RENTON
AS FOLIM-.
SECS I: The legal description as contained in City of Renton Ordinance
Nod 1818 be and the same is hereby corrected, amended and modified to read as follows:
That portion of Section 5, Twp, 23 Ne R. 5 E.W.M., lying west of the
east right of Hay line of 112th Avenue S.E., east of the east right
of way line of P.S.H. ##1, and north of the existing City Limits of
Renton. Also that portion of Be E. 96th Street in Section 32, T. 24
N., R. 5 E.W.M. lying east of the east right of way line of P,S.H. #1
and west of the east right of way line of 112th Avenue S.E, projected
north to the north right of way line of S.E, 112th Street, all situate
in King County, State of Washington,
SECTION II: All other provisions, terms and conditions of Ordinance No,
1818, except as expressly modified and amended hereby, shall remain in fall force
and effect,
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication as provided by law, A certified
copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Board of County Commissioners, King
County, State of Washington.
