AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR
AND AUTHORIZING TRANSFER AND EXPENDITURE FROM FUNDS RECEIVED
IN EXCESS OF ESTIMATED REVENUES WITHIN THE WATER AND SEWER
DEPARTMENTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
:-13 FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: For the purpose of providing additional funds for the operation
of the Water and Sewer Departments of the CITY OF RENTON as hereinafter more
particularly described and certain funds within said respective departments
having been received in excess of the estimated revenues as specified in the
CITY Budget for 1960 and such excess of revenues being available for the payment
unto the CITYIS Current Expense Fund of the utility and service charge to be
made by said Departments, it is hereby found necessary for the proper administration
operation and benefit of the CITY and said Water and Sewer Departments to transfer
and appropriate from funds received in excess of the estimated revenues, and such
appropriation and expenditures being necessary and required in the public interest
and for the public safety and welfare.
SECTION II: The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to transfer
the hereinbelow specified sums, all of which have been received in excess of
estimated revenues, to -wit:
FROM: Water Administration Department/Account No. 777 $6,500.00
UNTO: Current Expense Fund $6,500.00
FROM: Sewer Administration Fund Account No. 777 $3,100.00
UNTO: Current Expense Fund j $3,100.00
and the aforementioned funds to be used for the payment by the Water and Sewer
Departments unto the Current Expense Fund on account of the utility and service
charge levied by the CITY against said departments as provided by law.
SECTION III: The City Clerk of the City of Renton hereby certifies that this
Ordinance was duly passed and approved by the legislative body of the CITY upon
the vote of one more than the majority of all members of said legislative body.
SECTION IVs This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
