AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF
RENTON FROM AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A-1) TO LIGHT INDUSTRY
DISTRICT (L-1)
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned
as Agricultural District (A-1) and
WHEREAS said property has heretofore been annexed to the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a proper
petition for change of zone classification of said property to Light Industry District
(L-1) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about November 4,
1960, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for investigati
public hearing and study, and a public hearing thereon having been held on December 14,
1960 in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, which hearing was duly continued,
all pursuant to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and
said Planning Commission having duly considered and s:tudied said petition and the
various parts thereof; NOW THEREFORE
FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of Renton
is hereby rezoned to Light Industry District (L-1) as specified below; the City
Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as
follows:
The Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 30,
Township 23 North, Range S E.,W.M., EXCEPT highway, all located
in Renton, King County, Washington
and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and Ordinances of the City of Renton and
in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by petitioners -
owners of said property.

SECTION II; This :Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
