AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON APPROPRIATING
CERTAIN FUNDS RECEIVED IN EXCESS OF ESTIMATED REVENUES OF THE
CITY SEWER SYSTEM, AND AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES THEREFROM. -FOR
CAPITAL OUTLAY FOR NEEDS OF SAID CITY SEWER SYSTEM.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS.:
SECTION I: The City Council finds that the expenditure of funds to the amount
of $18,000.00, in addition to those provided to be expended under the 1961 Budget of the
City of Renton for capital outlay needs and requirements of the City's sewer system,
s necessary for needs and requirements which could not reasonably have been foreseen
'at the time of making said budget; that more than $18,000.00 has been received and is
:available in the sewage disposal fund of the City in excess of revenues estimated and
:anticipated for said fund in said City budget of 1961; that it is to the best interest
of the Municipality and is for the public benefit to transfer and appropriate said
.amount from excess revenues received as aforesaid for the purpose of providing necessary
additional funds for capital outlays for the sewer transmission system of the City;
that such expenditures are necessary for the proper administration and operation of the
City and its said sewer system.
SECTION II: The aforesaid sum of $18,000.00 received and held in the
Sewage Disposal Fund of the City of Renton in excess of anticipated revenues be and
hereby is appropriated and budgeted for expenditures as follows, and the City Treasurer is
authorized and directed to make such transfer, to -wit:
TO: Sewer Transmission Department, Account 7092.12 for
Capital Outlay, Item 1720 $18,000.00
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
:its passage, approval and legal publication.
