AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM THE CITY'S SEWAGE DISPOSAL
FUND, CAPITAL OUTLAY, UNTO LOCAL IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 244, CONSTRUCTION FUND.
WHEREAS certain improvements provided for by Ordinance No. 1794 in
Local Improvement District No. 244 have been completed and the assessment roll,
as amended, has been duly confirmed by Ordinance No. 1874 as required by law and
said Local Improvement District funds being available and sufficient to pay for
all the work so performed and incidentals thereto and
WHEREAS it was deemed advisable by the CITY OF RENTON to have some
extra and additional work and services performed by the same contractor engaged
in performing the improvements for the Local Improvement District during the
progress of such work within the general area of said District boundaries and
such work being in the public interest and for the public benefit; and all such
additional and extra work, not heretofore authorized, should be paid for by the
CITY OF RENTON by and through its "Sewage Disposal Fund", as part of its general
improvement program within said area; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE" CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The foregoing recitals and facts are hereby found and
determined to be true and correct and such extra and additional work and
services performed by said contractor for the Sewage Disposal Department amount
to the sum of $1,406.83.
SECTION II: The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to
transfer said sum of $1,406.83 from the Sewage Disposal Fund, Sewer Transmission,
Account No. 7092.12, Capital Outlay No. 1720 unto Local Improvement District
No. 244, Construction Fund.
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
