HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1886ORDINANCE NO._, , zf (� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON TO LIGHT INDUSTRY (L-1) WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith the property hereinbelow described had heretofore been zoned R-6 under the applicable King County zoning regulations and the City of Renton having heretofore annexed said property and fixed and determined said property to be part of its "General Classification District" and WHEREAS under the provisions of aforesaid Oxinance, as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to Light Industry District (L-1) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about February 8, 1961, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning ComdsEion for investigation, study and public hearing and a public hearing having been held thereon on March 8, 1961 in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, which hearing was duly conducted, all pursuant to notice of hearing duly published as provided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition; now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The following described properties in the City of Renton are hereby rezoned to Light Industry (L-1) as specified below; the City Engineer and the City Planning Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this zoning; said properties being described as follows: Lot 30, LESS the south 15 feet thereof, and Lots 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35, all in Block 22, C. D. Hillman's Earlington Gardens, Division No. 1, all located in Renton, King County, Washington SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
