AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON CHANGING THE ZONING CIASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (S-1) TO SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-1)
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been
zoned as Suburban Residence District (S-1); and
WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a
proper petition for change of zone classification of the hereinbelow described
property has been filed with the City Clerk of the CITY OF RENTON on or about
March 29, 1961, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Com-
mission for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing
thereon having been held on April 27, 1961 in the Council Chambers of the
CITY OF RENTON, which hearing was duly continued, all pursuant to notice of
hearing duly published and posted as provided by law; and said Planning Com-
mission having duly considered and studied said petition and having da.rd all parties
appearing in support thereoff a-nd ineoppagition thereto; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLa,7S :
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the CITY OF
RENTON is hereby rezoned to Single Family Residence (R-1) as specified below;
the City Engineer and Planning Director are hereby authorized and directed to
change the maps of the Zoning Ordinances -.of the CITY OF RENTON to evidence
this rezoning; said property being described as follows:
Tract 14 Block One, Stewart's highland Acre Tractsas recorded in
Volume 43 of Plats, Page 17, all situate in Renton, King County,
Washington
Said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the CITY OF RENTON.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication.
