AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON CHANGING THE ZONING CIA39M ICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY I-gTHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM PUBLIC USE DISTRICT (P-1) UNTO BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1) WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regulations), of OrdinancS No. 1628, known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as Public Use District (P-1); and WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of the hereitlbelow described property has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about April 30, 1961, which Petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing having been held thereon on May 24, 1961 . in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted as provided by law; and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition and having heard all parties appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto; now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to Business District (B-1) as specified below; the City Engineer and the Planning Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being ddscribed as follows: Lot 2, Block 3, and Lot 1, Block 3, EXCEPT the south 20 feet of said Lot 1 abutting on Second Avenue, all located in Motor Line Addition to Renton, as recorded in Volume 9 of Plats, page 50, records of King County, State of Washington and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton. SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 20th day of June, 1961.
