AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHTItiGTON ESTABLISHING
AND L32CTING THE SPEED OF BOATS ON PORTION OF CEDAR RIVER, IN
RENTON, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: It shall be unlawful for the operator of any boat or other
type of vehicle traveling on water to operate the same in excess of 5 miles per
hour on the Cedar River between its mouth and the Northern Pacific Railway
Bridge.
SECTION II: Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provision
of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in a sum not exceeding
$100.00 or be sentenced to thirty days in the City Jail, or both.
SECTION III: This ordinance shall be in fill force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
