AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, 11ASHINGTON
ADOPTING A CITY BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1962
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, VIASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: That the budget for the City of Renton for the year
1962 heretofore prepared and filed with the City Clerk, as modified and
approved by vote of the City Council of the City of Renton on October 6th,
1961, after due notice and hearing thereof as provided by law, be and the
same is hereby in all respects ratified and adopted as such budget for the
year 1962, same being by reference incorporated herein as if fully set forth.
SECTION II: The following total sums for expenditures are hereby
allowed and established in each of the following classifications in said 1962
budget, to.wit:
(A) Salaries and Wages ............................... $1,171,691
Maintenance & Operation .......................... 769,219
Capital Outlay ................................... 745,006
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1154 .................... 10,000
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1659 .................... 135.675
Cumulative Reserve Fund for
Fire Department #1695 ......................... 5,525
Depreciation Reserve Fund ........................ 10,000
Interest and Bond Redemption ..................... 57.350
Total Ordinary Expenditures (A) p2 55 72
(A) Receipts from sources other than Taxation........ $1,630,543
Add Surpluses carried over from previous year.... 431,677
Total to be raised by Taxation... ................ 562,452
Tess the sum of $136,500.00 (2.547 mills) levied
and collected during 1961 as per City of Renton

SECTION III: A copy of the budget as herein adopted shall be trans-
mitted to the Office of the State Auditor of 11ashington, Division of Municipal
Corporations, and such other governmental agencies as provided by law.

SECTION N: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
