AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AMENDING SECTION
10-702 OF TITLE X, (TRAFFIC) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE
OF GENERAL ORDIUANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITYCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
SECTION I: Existing Section 10-702 of Title X (Traffic) of Ordinance No. 1628
entitled "Codhof General Ordinances of the City of Renton" reading as follows:
PARKING METER ZONES: The following described streets in the city are
hereby designated and established. as parking meter zones, to -wit:
Third Avenue from Shattuck Street to Mill Street
Second Avenue from Mill Street to Main Street
The West side of Mill Street beginning at approximately 100 feet
north of intersection of Bronson Way and Mill Street and
continuing North to Second Avenue.
Main Street from Second Avenue to Fourth Avenue
Williams Street beginning at a point approximately 470 feet south
of the boundary of Commercial Waterway District No. 2 (now owned
by the City) and continuing south on Williams Street to Fourth
Avenue;
Wells Street, beginning at a point approximately 235 feet south of
the•;boundary of Commercial Waterway District No. 2 (now owned by
the City) and continuing south on Wells Street to Fourth Avenue.
Burnett Street from Second Avenue to Fourth Avenue
Walla Walla Avenue from Main Street to Burnett Street
In the following meter zones parking shall be restricted to one (ly hour
or fraction thereof:
1. South side of Third Avenue from Main Street to Walla Walla Avenue
2. Beginning at a point five feet (5') northeasterly from the East
margin of the alley between Main Street and Mill Street, thence
fifty-eight feet (58') in the northeasterly direction along
the curb.
3. The south side of Third Avenue from Walla Walla Avenue to Mill Street
4. The east and west side of Main Street from Fourth Avenue to Walla
Walla Avenue
5. The east and west side of Main Street from Third Avenue to Second
Avenue
6. The north and south side of Third Avenue from Main Street to Morris
Street
7. The east and west side of Wells Street from Walla Walla Avenue to
Second Avenue
8. The east and west side of Williams Street from Walla Walla Avenue to
Second Avenue
9. Third Avenue between Main Street and Walla Walla Avenue on the
south side.
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
10-702 as amended: PARKING METER ZONES: The following described streets in
the City are hereby designated and established as one hour parking meter zones, in which
parking shall be restricted to one hour, to -wit:

The south side of Third Avenue from Walla Walla Avenue to Mill Street
The north and south side of Third Avenue from Main Street to Shattuck Street
Main Street - Second Avenue to Third Avenue
Williams Street - Second Avenue to Walla Walla.Avenue
Wells Street - Second Avenue to Walla Walla Avenue
Burnett Street - Second Avenue to Fourth Avenue
The following described streets in the City are hereby designated and established
as two-hour parking meter zones, in which parking shall be restricted to two hours,
to -wit:
Second Avenue - Mill Street to Main Street
The west side of Mill Street beginning at approximately 100 feet north of
the intersection of Houser Way and Mill Street continuing north to
Second Avenue
Main Street - Walla Walla Avenue to Fourth Avenue
Williams Street - Walla Walla Avenue to Fourth Avenue
Wells Street - Walla Walla Avenue to Fourth Avenue
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
