HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1937V ORDINANCE NO.__`L�:� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY, OF RENTON FROM GENERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT.TO PUBLIC USE DISTRICT (P-1) WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regulations), of Ordinance No. 1628; known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton", as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as General Classification District; and WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of the hereinbelow described property has been filed with the City Clerk by the owners and users of the "Living Memorial Association of Kennydale" and said petition for rezoning having been filed on or about Jan. 2, 1962 and thereafter referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public hearing thereon and a public hearing having been held on January 24, 1962 in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to notice of bearing duly published and posted as provided by law; and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition and all parties having been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: .SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to Public Use District (P-1); and the City Engineer and the Plan - ping Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinances of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as follows: Tract 20.3 and the East 1/2 of Tract 220, C. D. Hillman's Lake Washiniton Garden of Eden, Division No. 4 as recorded in Volume 11 of Plats, Page 82, Records of King County, Washington. and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton. -I- r • Y i SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
