HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1980ORDINANCE NO. `� Md AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM GENERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3) WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628, known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton't as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow described have heretofore been zoned as General Classification District; and WHEREAS under the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of the hereinbelow described properties has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about May 31, 1962, and thereafter referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public hearing, and a public hearing having been held on said matter on or about June 27, 1962 in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted as provided by law; and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition, and all parties having been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to Residence District (R-3) as specified below; the City Engineer and the Planning Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as follows: Lots 7 through 13, Block 5, C. D. Hillmans Lake Washington Garden of Eden, Division No. 1.9 as recorded in Vol. 11, of Plats Page 63, Records of King County Washington, all situate in Renton, King County, Washington. SUBJECT HOWEVER to a height limitation on Lots 12 and 13 of 35 feet or two stories as to any building or structure located thereon, and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton. SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from -1- r^� 4 and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
