AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON CORRECTING AND AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1972 RELATING TO ANNEXATION.OF CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF RENTON.
WHEREAS the CITY OF RENTON, a municipal corporation, heretofore passed
and approved its Ordinance No. 1972 annexing certain territory to the CITY OF
RENTON and
WHEREAS the CITY has been advised by the County Engineer that the des-
cription contained in said Ordinance should be corrected and amended,.NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:.
Section I of Ordinance No. 1972 is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION I: as amended: It is hereby determined that the above mentioned
petition for annexation to the CITY OF RENTON of the property and territory herein-
below described be and is hereby approved and granted; and the following described
property being contiguous to the City Limits of the CITY OF RENTON, situated in
King County, State of Washington, be and the same is hereby annexed to the CITY
OF RENTON and such annexation to be effective on and after the approval, passage
and publication of this Ordinance, and on and after said date said territory shall
constitute a part of the CITY OF RENTON and shall be subject to all its laws and
ordinances and then and thereafter in force; said property being described as
follows:
Portions of Section 3, 4, 9 and 10, Township 23 North, Range 5 East,
W.M. described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of Section 9, Township 23 North, Range 5 East,
W.M.; thence West along the South line of the Northeast Quarter
of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 9 to the centerline of
existing easement for Bonneville Power Administration Diablo -
Seattle line; thence Northwesterly along said centerline to the
centerline (12th Avenue North) S. E. 112th Street; thence West
along said centerline to the production South of thelZast line of
Bomarc Addition, as recorded in Volume 59 of Plats, Page 69,
records of King County, Washington; thence North along said
Southerly production to the North margin of S. E. 112th Street;
thence East along the North margin of S. E. 112th Street and its
production East to the East margin of 132nd Avenue S. E.*thence
South along the East line of 132nd Avenue S. E.j�, to its intersection
with the existing City Limits according to City of Renton Ordinance
No. 1777aas amended by City of Renton Ordinance No. 1930; thence
West along said City Limits line to the centerline of 132nd Avenue
S. E., the East line of said Section 9; thence North along said 'East
line to the Southeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of said Section 9 and the point of beginning. All situate
in King County, Washington.

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law. -A certified
copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Board of County Commissioners
of King County, State of Washington, and as otherwise provided by law.
