ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION
10-1107 OF TITLE X (TRAFFIC) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE
OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING.TO SPEED LIMITS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing Section 10-1107 of Title X (Traffic) of Ordinance No. 1628
entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 10-11,07 as amended: SPEED LIMITS: The speed limit on all streets within
the City Limits ave hereby established to be 25 miles per hour including the following
designated streets constituting a part of the State Highway System, to -wit:
1. 3rd Avenue (P.S.H. No. 2 -RE East Bound) from Rainier Avenue (P.S.H. No. 5)
to Mill Street.
2. Mill Street (P.S.H. No. 2 -RE East Bound) from 3rd Avenue (P.S.H. No. 2 -RE)
3. Bronson Way (P.S.H. No. 2 -RE) from Main Street to Sunset Blvd. East (P.S.H.
No. 2 -RE)
4. 2nd Avenue (P.S.H. No. 2 -RE West Bound) from Main Street to Rainier Avenue
(P.S.H. No. 5)
5. Main Street (SSH No. 5-C) from Grady Way to 3rd Avenue (P.S.H. No. 2 -RE)
The speed limits on the following designated streets are hereby established to
be 30 miles per hour.

4. 90th Avenue South from Renton Avenue to 88th Place South.
5. 88th Place South from 90th Avenue South to 87th Avenue South.
6. Renton Avenue from Rainier Avenue to West City Limits.
7. Park Street from Bronson Way to 10th Avenue North.
8. Fourth Avenue North from Logan Street to Factory Street.
9. 3rd Place North from Factory Street to 3rd Avenue North.
10. 3rd Avenue North from 3rd Place North to Sunset Blvd. East (P.S.H. No. 2 -RE)
11. 116th Avenue Southeast from Sunset Blvd. East (P.S.H. No. 2 -RE) to Southeast
97th Street.
12. 112th Avenue Southeast from Sunset Blvd. East (P.S.H. No. 2 -RE) to Southeast
97th Street.

The speed limits on the following designated streets are hereby established to
be 35 miles per hour.
1. Sunset Blvd. West (P.S.H. No. 2 -RE) from Rainier Avenue (P.S.H. No. 5)
Westerly to City Limits.
2. Rainier Avenue (P.S.H. No. 5) from South 153rd Street Northerly to City Limits.
3. Benson Highway (S.S.H. No. 5-C) from Grady Way to Talbot Road.
4. Maple Way from Bronson Way Southerly to City Limits.
5. Airport Way from Rainier Avenue (P.S.H. No. 5) to Logan Street.
6. Logan Street from Airport Way to 8th Avenue North produced West.
7. Lake Washington Blvd. from 10th Avenue North to North City Limits.
8. Fourth Avenue North (Cemetery Road) from "J" Street to Eabterly City Limits.
The speed limits on the following designated streets are hereby established to be
45 miles per house.
1. Renton Junction Way (P.S.H. No. 1 -RE) from Rainier Avenue (P.S.H. No. 5)
to West City Limits.
2. Rainier Avenue South (P.S.H. No. 5) from South 153rd Street to South City Limits.
3. West Valley Highway (S.S.H. No. 2-M) from South 180th Street Northerly to
City Limits.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
