AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM
GENERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT TO RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (R-3) FOR
REST AND NURSING HOME PURPOSES
WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance
No. 1628, known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" as amended,
and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has
heretofore been zoned as General Classification District (G-7200), and
14HEREAS under the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a proper petition for
change of zone classification of the hereinbelow described property has been filed with
the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about September 4, 1962, which petition
was thereafter referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public
hearing, and a public hearing having been held thereon on October 10, 1962, in the Council
Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and
posted as provided by law; said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied
said petition and all parties having been heard appearing in support thereof or in
opposition :.hereto; NOW THEREFORE
AS FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Renton is
hereby rezoned to Residential District (R-3) as specified below; and the Petitioners -Owners
are hereby granted a permit to construct a rest and nursing home on said property in
compliance with the Ordinances of the City of Renton and the laws of she State of
Washington relating thereto; the City Engineer and the Plannig Director are hereby authorized
and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to evidence this
rezoning; said property being described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of Sec. 9, Twp. 23, R. 5 E.,W.M. in
King County, Washingtpn; thence S 0059'21' W 663.24"; thence
S 8805537' E 30' to point of beginning; thence S 88055'37" E
289.64' to the W line of Renton Highlands, Vol. 46 Plats, Page 34,
records of King County4Washington; thence S 0047'05" W 121.20';
thence S 60035'05" W 230.74 ' to the NEly margin of State Highway
No. 2; thence Nally along the NEly margin of PSH #2 to the E margin
of 116th Ave. S. E.; thence N 0059'21" E 124.73' to point of beginning
all situated in Renton, King County, Washington
said rezoning to be further subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton.

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
