AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
SECTION 10.1107 OF TITLE X (TRAFFIC) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628
ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON"
RELATING TO SPEED LIMITS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE -MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
SECTION I: Sub -Section 3 of Section 10-1107 as amended, relating to
speed limits of thirty-five miles per hour is hereby amended to read as follows:
Highway
Sub -Section 3 - Benson/(S.S.H. No. 5-C) from Talbot Road to the south
City Limits.
SECTION II: Sub -Section 3 of Section 10-1107 as amended, relating to
speed limits of forty-five miles per hour reading as follows:
West Valley Highway (S.S.H. No. 2••M) from South 180th Street Northerly
to City Limits
is hereby rescinded and of no further force or effect.
SECTION III: There is hereby established a new Sub -Section to Section
10-1107 as amended, reading as follows:
The speed limit on the following designated streets is hereby established
to be fifty miles per hour:
1. West Valley Highway (S.S.H. No. 2-M) from South 180th Street Northerly
to the City Limits.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
