HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 2003FOLLOWS: ORDINANCE NO.�) AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 5-1804 OF TITLE V (BUSINESS REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO BOWLING .ALLEYS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AS SECTION I: Existing Section 5-1804 of Title V (Business Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" reading as follows: 5-1804: BOWLING .ALLEY: There shall be charged and collected an annual license fee of $15.00 for the first bowling alley operated in the City and $5.00 per annum for each additional alley. Said license to be payable semi-annually in advance. (Ord. 1046; 8-17-1939) BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: Section 5-1804, as amended - BOWLING ALLEY: There shall be charged and collected an annual license fee of $7.50 for each bowling alley lane located within any bowling alley establishment. All said license fees shall be payable in advance on or before the 1st day of January of each and every calendar year, or semi-annually in advance on or before the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July of each and every calendar year. SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after January 1, 1963 and after passage, approval and legal publication as provided by law.
