AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON RESTRICTING
AND REGULATING._PARKING.OF VEHICLES ON CERTAIN DESIGNATED
STREETS;. PROVIDING. PENALTIES. FOR VIOLATION THEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Parking of vehicles on Garden Street between its intersections
with 8th Avenue North and Lake Washington Boulevard is hereby prohibited.
SECTION II: Parallel parking of vehicles on 8th Avenue North easterly
of its intersection with Garden Street is permitted, except that no vehicles of
any kind shall be parked within a distance of twenty—five (25) feet from any inter—
section.
SECTION III: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision
of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof
shall be fined a sum not exceeding Fifty Dollars ($50.00).
SECTIO IV: The Street Superintendent is hereby authorized and directed
to erect and install the necessary signs and signals to implement the foregoing
provisions.
