AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
SECTIONS 10-501, 10-502, 10-503, 10-504 and 10-506 of TITLE
X (TRAFFIC) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED, "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO RESTRICTION OF
PARKING,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing Section 10-501 (NO PARKING .AREAS) is hereby amended by adding
the following subsections thereto, to -wit:
32. On the West side of Houser Way between its intersections of 4th
Avenue North and 3rd Avenue North.
33. On the East side of Main Street between 4th Avenue to its intersection
with Grady Way.
34. On 8th Avenue North between its intersection with Park Avenue to
Garden Street.
35. On 3rd Place North between its intersection with 4th Avenue North and
Houser Way
36. On Logan Street between Airport Way and 6th Avenue North
37. On Park Avenue commencing at its intersection with 8th Avenue North
and extending for a distance of 1,500 feet north to Lake Washington
Bouleard.
38. On the North side of Airport Way from its intersection with Logan
Street, westerly for a distance of 200 feet.
39. On the South side of Airport Way from its intersection with Logan
Street, westerly for 245 feet.
40. On the South side of Airport Way commencing at a point 405 feet West
from its intersection with Logan Street, westerly for a distance of
70 feet.
,41. On the East side of Garden Street between 4th Avenue North and 5th
Avenue North.
42. On Garden Street between 5th Avenue North and 6th Avenue North.
43. On the East side of Garden Street between 6th Avenue North and 8th
Avenue North
44. On the West side of Garden Street commencing at a point 300 feet North
of 6th A17enue North and extending to 8th Avenue North.
45. On the West side of Wells Street from the Cedar River Bridge to 1st
Avenue North.
SECTION II: Existing suhaec,tion 15 of Section 10-501 (NO PARKING AREAS) is herdy
repealed.

SECTION III: Existing Section 10-592 (NO PARKING AT CERTAIN TIMES) is hereby
amended by adding the following subsections, thereto, to -wit:
(Q) There shall be no parking between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and
5:30 P.M. on the West side of Logan Street commencing at 2nd Avenue and
extending 600 feet North therefrom.
(R) Parking of vehicles on the North side of 4th Avenue extending

-✓ ,Nr from Factory Street to Houser Way is hereby prohibited between the
hours of 4:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.
SECTION IV: Existing subsection (M) of Section 10-502 (NO PARKING AT CERTAIN
TIMES) is hereby amended to read as follows:
10-502, (M), as. .amended: There shall be no parking of vehicles on Park
Avenue between the hours of 5:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., daily, commencing at
its intersection of 6th Avenue North and extending to 8th Avenue North.
SECTION V: Existing subsections (B), (J) and (0) of Section 10-502 (NO
PARKING.AT CERTAIN TIMES) are hereby repealed.
SECTION VI: Existing subsection (B) of Section 10-503 (ONE HOUR PARKING AT
CERTAIN T DIES) is hereby amended by adding the following subsections:
9. On the Norrh side of 4th Avenue North from Factory Street to
Houser Way
10. On the West side of Park avenue, beginning at the intersection of
1st Avenue North and extending North for a distanceof one hundred
twenty (120) feet.
SECTION VII: Existing subsection (C) of Section 10-503 (ONE HOUR PARKING
AT CERTAIN TIMES) is hereby amended by adding the following subsections:
15. �On theeast side of Logan Street between 2nd Avenue and Tobin
Street
16. On the North side of 4th Avenue North from Factory Street to
Houser Way.
SECTION VIII: Existing subsection (D) of Section 10-503 (ONE HOUR PARKING AT
CERTAIN TIMES) is hereby amended by adding the following subsections:
12. On the East side of Park Avenue commencing at its intersection
of Bronson Way and extending northerly for a distance of 240 feet.

SECTION IX: Existing subsection (B), items 1 and 2; subsection (C), item 4�
/' and subsection (E) of Section 10-503 (ONE HOUR PARKING AT CERTAIN TIMES) are hereby
repealed.
SECTION X: Existing subsection (G) of.Section 10-504 (TWO HOUR PARKING)
is hereby amended by adding the following subsections:
6. On Williams Street between the Cedar River Bridge and its
intersection with 2nd Avenue
7. On Wells Street between its intersection of 2nd Avenue to the
Cedar River Bridge.
8. On the East side of Wells Street between the Cedar River Bridge
to 1st Avenue North.
9. On the South side of 4th Avenue North between its intersection
with Factory Street to Houser Way.
SECTION XI: Existing subsection (i) of Section 10-504 (TWO HOUR PARKING)
is hereby amended to read as follows:
10-504 (I), as amended: Parking of vehicles on Park Street commencing at
its intersection of Fourth Avenue North to Sixth Avenue North is hereby
restricted to two hours daily, except that there shall be no parking of
vehicles of any kind between the hours of 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 A. M. and
3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., except Sundays and holidays.
SECTION XII: Existing subsection (B) of Section 10-504 (TWO HOUR PARKING)
is hereby repealed.
SECTION XIII: Existing Section 10-506 (PARKING RESTRICTED ON AIRPORT WAY)
is hereby amended to read as follows:
10-506, as amended: (PARKING RESTRICTED ON AIRPORT WAY). Parking of vehicles
on Airport Way between the hours of 7:00 A. M. to 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. to 5:00
P.M., daily, is hereby prohibited.
SECTION XIV: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
