HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 2040N r ORDINANCE NO* a ORIGINAL I AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGION� VACATING A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET LOCATED iN THE CITY OF RENTONs KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON, WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a portion of a certain street as hereinafter more particularly described, was duly filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about April 29, 1963, said petition being signed by the owners of -tore than twd4thirds of the property abutting upon the portion of the street sought to be vacated; and WHEREAS the City of Renton by Reso°idtion No: _105.. and after due investigation did fix and determine the 10th day of ;lune, 1963 at the hour_ of 8.',:" P.M. in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time and place for public hearing thereon and directed the City Clerk to give notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law -and WHEREAS the City Clerk has duly caused notice of such hearing tc b, and to be posted for the time and in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS a public hearing was duly: held upon said petition on the day so fixed and the Planning Commission having recommended said vacation of a portion cf the street and the vacation thereof being in the public interest and for the public benefit and no injury or damage to any person or properties will result therefrom, NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The following described portion of street right-of-way, to -wit -4. A portion of right-of�-way of 7th Avenue North lying North of the existing 30 ft. right-of-way of 7th Avenue North between "K" and "M" streets, all situate in Renton, King County, Washington, BE AND THE SAME is HEREBY VACATED', SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect f"m and after its passage, appr©.val and legal publication as provided by lay.
