ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
APPROPRIATING AND TRANSFERRING CERTAIN FUNDS IN
EXCESS OF,ESTIMA TED REVENUES.
WHEREAS the CITY OF RENTON has received revenues in excess of estimated
revenues, to -wit: payment in lieu of taxes by THE BOEING COMPANY for former
Air Force Plant No. 20located within the CITY OF RENTON and
WHEREAS such excess revenues are needed to defray expenditures in the
Fire Department as hereinbelow set forth and such appropriations and expenditures
being necessary and required and being in the public interest and for the public
benefit, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: There is hereby appropriated from aforesaid excess revenues
to and for the following Department, the sum of $55,000,00, to -wit: "Cumu-
lative Reserve Fund No. 1698" and the City Clerk and City Treasurer are hereby
authorized and directed to make the proper transfer as above stated,
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
