AN ORDINANCE OF THEN CCIITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
CHAPTER 10 OF TITLE I (ADMINISTRATIVE) OF ORDINANCE NO.
1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, BY ADDING A SUB -SECTION THERETO RELATING TO
STREET COMMISSIONER'S BOND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF RENTON AS
SECTION I: Chapter 10 of Title I of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended by adding a sub -section
to said Chapter 10, to be known as Sub -Section 1-1005 (a) reading as follows:
STREET COMMISSIONER: The Street Commissioner of the CITY OF RENTON
before entering upon the duties of his office shall execute a bond
in favor of the CITY OF RENTON in the sum of $1,000.00, conditioned
for the faithful performance of his duties as such Street Commissioner
and that he will faithfully account for and turn over to the Treasurer
of the CITY all monies coming into his hands as such Street Commissioner,
belonging to the CITY.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 13th day of April, 1964.
