HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 2116ORIGINAL i .ORDIMANCE .110; AN ORDIkRNCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, 1.7AS11I1\TGTON, AMENDING ORDIMI,CE NO. 2100 RE 'IMM AND PRECINCTS: - WIM-REAS the CITY heretofore possed cnd approved ordinance No. 2100 on July 13, 1964 which Ordinance ^mended Chapter 7 ([dards and Precincts) of Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No. 162E entitled 0Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton', and T-711EREAS it appears advisable to amend said Ordinance in order to correct the boundaries of certain precincts and to avoid any uncertainty, Mr -7 THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLMIS SECS I: Sections 1-724, 1-732 and 1-73& of Chapter 7 ([lards and Precincts) of Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No. 162E entitled ?Code of General Ordi- nances of the City of Renton" are hereby amended to read as follows: a) Section 1-724 As Amended: PRECINCT NO. 22: All that portion of the City of Renton lying south of the center -lines of 7th Avenue North and 6th Place North; east of the centerline of '711" Street; north of the center- line of 4th Avenue North; and west of the center -lines of "0" Street and 132nd Avenue Southeast. b) Section 1-732 As Amended: PRECINCT NO. 30: All that portion of the City of Penton lying south of the center -lines of Southeast 95th and South- east 96th Streets; east of the Inner Harbor Line and the center -line of Northern Pacific Railroad right-of-way; north of the center -line of Eth Avenue North; and west of the center -lines of Primary State Highway No. 1 RE and 104th Avenue Southeast. C) Section 1-73E As Amended: PRECINCT NO. 36: 111 that portion of the City of Renton lying north of Southeast E6th Street and Southeast 95th Street; and west of the existing City Limits and 104th Avenue Southeast. SECTION II: All other provisions of Ordinance No. 2100 relating to precincts, except as hereinabove expressly amended shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 19th day of October, 1964.
