A11JENDING SECTION F-309, SUBPARAGRAPH (A) OF TITLE
VIII (HEALTH AND SANITATION) OF ORDIMNCE NO. 162E
ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF REIN?TON" RELATING TO RATES FOR GARBAGE COLLECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AM. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOvJS :
SECTION I: Existing Section F-309, Subparagraph (A) of Title
VIII (Health and Sanitation) of Ordinance No. 1620 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as foll ores:
F-309 as amended: RATE FOR CMRGES: The following schedule be
and the same is hereby adopted as a basis of classification and as a schedule
of charges to be paid to and collected by the City for services rendered:
(A) Collection of garbage, refuse and swill frorr residential dwellings
shall be made once each week and the charges therefor shall be as follows:
1. For "garbage cans" and/or "garbage units" as herein defined, placed
not more than twenty-five feet (251) from the point of pickup:
Not more than 2 cans per seek

2. For "garbage cans" and/or "garbage units" as herein defined, placed

(B) Collection of garbage, refuse and swill from business firms and
commercial enterprises shall be made each week day and the charges to be as
follows:
1. For the first twenty (20) "garbage cans" and/or "garbage units" as
herein defined $ .37 per can per month
2, Any garbage cans" or "garbage units" as herein defined, in e::cess
of twenty (20) cans per month $ .22 per can per month
Provided, however, that.the minimum monthly charge for each such business
or commercial account shall be the sum of two dollars ($2.00) per month.
SECTION II: A.11 other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed,
