WHEREAS, the City of Renton, Washington, under permit dated
July 24, 1946, has received a permit from the Reconstruction Finance
Corporation, allowing the City of Renton to operate the airstrip used
in conjunction with tle Renton Boeing Plant, commonly called (lancor
15 6�, and
// WHEREAS, in order to provide adequate fire protection to the build-
ings and planes used on and about said airstrip, the City of Renton wishes
to acquire fire truck described as, -one certain 750 gallon pumper,
Kenworth Chassis, Hale Pump, D. P. C. #90012-1 Engine #262137, Boeing
#351, and
WHEREAS, said fire truck would be of great importance to the full
use.and occupancy of said airstrip.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Couhcil :-of the City of-
Renton,

Renton, Washington:
Section 1: 'That the City of Renton, Washington, enter into
/negotiations) with the (War Assets Administration) to the end that said
(fire truc)be added to the list of equipment, use of which was granted
the City of Renton under the permit executed July 24, 1946, between the
Reconstruction Finance Corporation and the City of Renton, for (se in
the maintenance and operation of the airstrip) described in said permit.
Section 2:, That upon completion of suchnegotiations and the
acquisition of said fire truck, that the Mayor and City Clerk.be and
they hereby are authorized to execute agreements or documents necessary
to add said fire truck to the list of personal property now used by
the City in conjunction with the use of the airstrip.
