AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTOPd, WASHINGTOII,
REPEALIYdG SECTION 6-2805 OF CHAPTER 28, TITLE
VI (POLICE REGULATIONS) OF ORDIIQAPdCE P10 . 1628
ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINAPICES OF THE
CITY OF RENTON" RELATED TO AGE RESTRICTIONS
IN CABARETS AND ADDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
THE CITY COUTICIL OF THE CITY OF RErdTON, tiJASHINGTOId, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing Section 6-2305 of Title VI (Police
Regulations) of Ordinance T1o . 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton" is hereby repealed in its entirety .
SECTION II: Existing Chapter 28 of Title VI (Police
Regulations) of Ordinance TdO. 162�3 entitled "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton" is amended by adding a new Section entitled
"Severability" as follows :
Section 6-2810: SEVER.ABILITY: The provisions of this
Ordinance are hereby declared to be severable. If any word, phrase ,
clause, sentence, para�raph, section or part in or of this Ordinance ,
or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is declared
invalid, the remaining provisions and the application of such provisions
to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby, but
shall remain in full force and effect, the Mayor and City Council
hereby declaring that they would have ordained the remaining provisions
of this Ordinance without the word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph
section or part or the application thereof, so held invalid.

SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and thirty (30) days after publication.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 2'5th day of February, 1985 .
