BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON:
Section 1. That a proposed amendment of State of Washing-
ton Sessio s Laws of 1921, Chapter 107, Sectio 1, as recommend-
ed by the State Advisory Councillon Recreation to be submitted
to the 1949 State Legislature,• which amendmen would among
other things authorize any city or town to act in conjunction
with another municipal or governmental organization in the �c-
quisttion, operation or maintenance of parks, play grounds,
etc, and to use property belonging to such other organization
wit its consent, be and the same hereby is endorsed)by the
City of Renton as being a desirable amendment of exiting law;
Section 2. That the 1949 State Legislature be and is here-
by memorial zed to adopt such amendment.,
Section 3. That copies of this Resolution be transmitted
to the State Advisory Council on Recreation, and also to the .
Association of Washington Cities, and that each of said
organizations.is authorized to submit this Resolution to the
Legislature and its committees, and is requested to use its
efforts in securing the passage of such an amendment.
