AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON 5493,
AMENDING A PORTION OF CHAPTER 41, TITLE I
(i�DMINISTRATTVE) AND A PORTION OF SECTION 4-722
TITLE IV (BUILDING REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE
N0. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO FEE SCHEDULES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing subsections (D) , (E) and (H) of Section 1-4102,
Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton" are hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION II: Existing Chapter 41 of Title I (Administrative)
of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City
of Renton" is hereby amended by adding the following section:
Section 1-4103: REFUNDING LAND USE FEES: The filing fees '
as set forth in the fee schedule for the City of Renton are established ,
to defray the cost of posting and processing and the proceedings in
connection with a land use application. The Building and Zoning
Director may authorize the refunding of not more than 80 percent of
the total application fees paid provided the applicant presents a written
request to withdraw or cancel prior to the routing of the application
for staff review.
SECTION III: Existing subsection (H) of Section 4-722 , Title
IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby deleted in its
entirety.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and thirty days after publication.
