LIHER AS under the provisions of Ordinance No. 1299 the City
of Renton reserves the right to (redeem bonds i -ambers 55 to '74)
inclusive after one year from date of issue thereof, and the holders
of said bonds have consented to the redemption thereof as of Mray
23, 1949, by payment of the amounts of said bonds plus interest
to said date, and it will save the City considerable amounts in
future interest to effect such redemption, thereby serving the inter-
ests of the City; NOVil `1'HER ;FORE,
THE .AYOR AND ;ITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'T'Y OF R{N TOIV DO RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: The City Treasurer is hereby autniorized and directed
to transfer the sum of )20,000.00 from the "Sewer Disposal Fund."
into the special fund -known as "Renton 1948 Vlate_r Revenue Refunding
Bond Redemption Fund", created by and under Ordinance No. 1299.
Section II. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and direct-
ed to disbutse from the last mentioned special fund the said sum of
;x20,000.00, being the principal amount of the bonds hereinafter men-
tioned, together with the amount of accrued interest due on said
bonds up to date of redemption, in payment and redemption of bonds
numbered 55 to 74 inclusive "Renton (Nater Revenue Refunding Bonds,
1948" which were issued and dated March 1, 1948, under the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1299.
